Adrian is a lifelong equestrian whose early years were spent competing on the hunter-jumper circuit and studying the natural horsemanship principles of Ray Hunt with her local trainer. After furthering her equine education at Utah State University with electives, she returned to her roots jumping and overseeing youth therapy programs featuring gentled mustangs.

 

In 2017, Adrian shifted her focus to the discipline of dressage, sparking the vision for JAAW Equine™. Her goal was to provide international bloodlines paired with temperaments suitable for both professionals and amateurs. What began as a small backyard operation with two Hanoverian broodmares has since grown into a premier program featuring 12 mares and three stallions.

Today, JAAW Equine™ celebrates multiple horses competing at both regional and national levels each year. Adrian’s stallions are meticulously selected for their conformation and sport potential, with a primary emphasis on exceptional temperament. By establishing a robust network of top-tier trainers, riders, and veterinarians, the program is able to keep world-class foals accessible to the market.

 

While maintaining a small private facility in Utah, a strategic partnership with Coalcyn Equestrian has been instrumental in the program’s expansion and success.  Adrian remains dedicated to producing the next generation of top-tier dressage athletes from her home base in the West, with the goal of a dedicated JAAW Equine™ facility in the future.

Just a note...

None of this would be possible without the love and support my husband and son, who have truly embraced the equestrian lifestyle alongside me. While running his own company, my husband has still found the time to become the ultimate "horse husband"—traveling to shows, stallion competitions, and inspections, while helping with daily chores and everything in between.
